Magnetic Assemblies
MPI magnetic assemblies are designed to transmit torque and motion without mechanical contact, providing a reliable, safe, and durable solution for the most demanding industrial applications.
Features
Magnetic rubber is produced by mixing ferrite powders with synthetic rubber matrices. Finished parts are obtained in the required shapes and dimensions through calendering or extrusion processes. The product offers excellent flexibility and mechanical strength, allowing designers to develop components with different geometries and, when necessary, further refine prototypes through final machining operations.
Magnetic assemblies are mainly classified into planar couplings and coaxial couplings, depending on the arrangement and magnetization of the magnets. The materials used include NdFeB, SmCo, and ferrite, selected according to the required performance in terms of torque, temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance.

Key Advantages and Applications of Magnetic Assemblies
Magnetic assemblies represent a modern, efficient, and durable solution, capable of improving safety, reducing operating costs, and extending the service life of equipment.
Their excellent machinability and high level of automation make this type of magnetic solution unique. They can be cut, punched, bonded to wood or metal, and applied to curved surfaces. Magnetization, often performed axially with multiple poles, is also relatively simple, further expanding the versatility and range of applications of this technology.
For example, strips with highly complex patterns and extremely reduced thicknesses can be produced.
Thanks to their hermetically sealed structure and the absence of mechanical contact, magnetic assemblies are widely used in pumps, mixers, transmission systems, and precision equipment. They are particularly suitable for the chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, food, and automotive industries, where process reliability and cleanliness are essential.
